ChildCare Ventures

ChildCare Ventures is a program of the Santa Cruz Community Credit Union. It is a collaborative effort of the Central Coast Small Business Development Center, El Pajaro Community Development Corporation, Santa Cruz Community Ventures, the Human Resources Agency of Santa Cruz County and the Santa Cruz County Office of Education Child Development Resource Center.  Our clients benefit from the particular expertise and resources each of the partners brings to the collaboration.

The Partnership: ChildCare Ventures supports and promotes child care as a vital element of community economic development. They assist in the creation of quality child care facilities, assists child care providers, developers and governments maintain and expand child care spaces in their localities. They also help develop strategies to maximize the funding for child care facilities. Lastly, ChildCare Ventures promotes partnerships to increase the supply of child care and supports the sustainability of child care enterprises.
