Human Race 2011

The Human Race is a walk-a-thon and fun run down West Cliff Dr. in Santa Cruz. There is breakfast served before the race and a celebratory bbq held after the race for all race participants. The first 2,000 race participants to sign up the morning of the race will receive a Human Race t-shirt. The Human Race is a way for local non-profits to raise money for their agency and have tons of fun at the same time. The Human Race/Walk is held every year. This year the Walnut Avenue Women’s Center is walking to raise money for our “Wise Guys” and “Girl Talk” youth support groups. “Wise Guys” and “Girl Talk” are support groups for youth age 12-16. They are drop-in support groups held every Thursday at the Walnut Avenue Women’s Center free of charge to all participants.
